Create a striking card using the sunflower embossing folder cut into quarters and arranged as decorative corners. This project shows how to break up an embossing folder design to create abstract, dimensional accents rather than using it as a full focal point.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Run the sunflower embossing folder through your die-cutting machine on white cardstock. ▶ watch 32:15
2. Fussy cut the embossed sunflower design out of the white card. ▶ watch 32:30
3. Cut the embossed sunflower into four equal quarters using a guillotine or straight cuts. ▶ watch 33:00
4. Prepare your card base by layering white and black cardstock squares. ▶ watch 33:15
5. Adhere one sunflower quarter to each corner of your layered card base. ▶ watch 33:30
6. Add colour to the embossed centres using a gossip Sparkle pen and orange ink pad, dragging the colour into the embossed lines. ▶ watch 36:00
7. Add a sentiment or text to the centre of the card to complete the design. ▶ watch 36:30

• The colour sits naturally in the deep embossed lines, creating a beautiful effect without needing to be precise.
• You can use embossing folders in non-traditional ways, such as breaking them up into corners rather than using them as a full focal point.
