Watercolour Reflection Card with Stencilled Star and Confetti Paint

Build a layered card using pearly ink sprays for a sparkly background, then add a stylised star stencil and paint it with confetti ink mixed to a watercolour consistency. Layer in reflection stamps of birds and water to create a complete romantic scene with white highlights and splats.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Start with a piece of white card stock as your base. ▶ watch 20:30
2. Spray pearly wink spray (copper-toned) onto the card, adding a touch of water to tone down the intensity if desired. ▶ watch 20:45
3. Add another layer of pearly spray in a different colour to create definition and build up the sparkly background. ▶ watch 21:00
4. Position the stylised star stencil on your card. ▶ watch 22:00
5. Mix confetti ink with water using a brush to achieve a watercolour consistency. ▶ watch 22:15
6. Paint the confetti ink through the star stencil, following the shape and building up layers for better coverage. ▶ watch 23:00
7. Remove the stencil carefully to reveal the star design. ▶ watch 23:30
8. Stamp the moon element from the reflection stamp set in black ink in the upper portion of the star. ▶ watch 24:00
9. Stamp the bird silhouette from the reflection set in black ink, positioning it as if within or near the moon. ▶ watch 26:00
10. Paint in water lines freehand with confetti ink to suggest the water reflection beneath the bird. ▶ watch 26:30
11. Add white confetti ink splats across the design to create a starry or snowy effect. ▶ watch 28:00
12. Spray pearl glitter spray over the entire card from a distance for subtle sparkle, then heat-set with a heat gun. ▶ watch 28:30

Tipps aus der Show

• Layer the confetti ink build-up gradually rather than trying to apply it all at once to avoid a messy appearance.
• The confetti ink will dry back slightly, so don't worry if it looks blobby when wet.
• You can spray pearl spray directly or waft it through the air to catch the sparkle if you prefer a more subtle effect.
