Reveal Card with Torn Spiral and Heat-Embossed Sentiment

Create an interactive reveal card by tearing your stamped background into three sections and rolling them back to expose a hidden sentiment underneath. Finish with heat-embossed gold lettering for an elegant touch.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Stamp your lady image in black ink on a white card ▶ watch 16:00
2. Tear the card into three horizontal sections ▶ watch 21:45
3. Ensure the tears are roughly level across the card ▶ watch 22:30
4. Glue the first torn section back down as your base layer ▶ watch 23:00
5. Roll the second section around a pencil or pen to create a spiral ▶ watch 24:00
6. Massage the rolled paper and tilt it at an angle to secure the spiral shape ▶ watch 24:45
7. Glue the spiral section in place ▶ watch 25:15
8. Stamp your sentiment on a separate piece using a sticky ink pad ▶ watch 26:30
9. Apply gold heat-embossing powder to the sentiment and heat set it ▶ watch 32:45
10. Brush off excess powder with a tissue ▶ watch 34:30
11. Glue the heat-embossed sentiment onto the card ▶ watch 34:45
12. Draw a frame line around the card edge using a pen for finishing detail ▶ watch 35:45

Tipps aus der Show

• You can trim the spiral from the top to create a thinner spiral without a big lump on your card
• You could do several tears on one card, placing them in different directions for varied reveals
• You could create a sunshine day and rainy day effect by having different images or colours under each tear
