A vibrant, multi-coloured lily card using the Lovely Lily stencil set with three layers. The technique demonstrates how changing colours between layers and using different positioning creates a dynamic, three-dimensional flower that appears to pop from the page.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Place the first Lovely Lily stencil onto your cardstock. ▶ watch 40:45
2. Pounce a colour (such as pink or purple) through the stencil using a sponge dauber, working across all the petal areas. ▶ watch 41:00
3. Remove the stencil and observe the textured base layer—don't worry if it looks uneven, as subsequent layers will cover it. ▶ watch 41:30
4. Align the second stencil layer and pounce a contrasting or darker colour through to add dimension to the petals. ▶ watch 42:00
5. Remove the second stencil and position the third stencil, which contains the delicate stamen centres. ▶ watch 42:30
6. Pounce a third colour (such as orange or brown) through the centre stencil, being careful with the delicate detail areas. ▶ watch 43:00
7. For variation, you can position the stamen stencil in different locations on the same flower to create multiple centres or different formations. ▶ watch 43:30
8. Once all layers are complete and dry, use the coordinating die to cut out the finished lily for added dimension. ▶ watch 44:00

• Follow the natural lines of the stencil design when pouncing to maintain the 3D appearance.
• Be gentle with intricate areas—pouncing rather than dragging prevents damage to delicate elements.
• You can create multiple different-looking lilies by changing the colour combinations and stamen positions.
