Create a beautiful ombre gradient effect using multiple shades of pigment ink on white cardstock. The wet consistency of pigment ink allows colours to blend smoothly without harsh lines.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Place a stencil on white cardstock. ▶ watch 17:15
2. Sponge the darkest colour in the centre of the stencil opening. ▶ watch 17:30
3. Sponge a medium shade around the dark centre, slightly overlapping. ▶ watch 17:45
4. Sponge the lightest shade on the outer edges, blending into the medium shade. ▶ watch 18:00
5. Use dabbing and circular motions to blend the colours together smoothly. ▶ watch 18:15
6. Remove the stencil to reveal the blended ombre effect. ▶ watch 18:30

Tipps aus der Show

• Pigment ink's oil-like consistency allows you to move it around and create smooth ombre blends without harsh lines.
• Work quickly as pigment ink does dry, but you have enough time to blend before it sets completely.
