Textured Embossed Card with Multicolour Powders

Create a beautiful textured card using embossing powders on texture paste. This technique layers embossing powders whilst the paste is still wet to create enhanced raised texture and sparkle.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Apply texture paste directly onto your card using a stencil, scraping off excess and keeping the paste moist between baby wipes. ▶ watch 16:15
2. Sprinkle your first embossing powder colour onto the wet texture paste in places, then flick off the excess back into the pot. ▶ watch 17:30
3. Add your second powder colour by sprinkling it on, then flick off excess. ▶ watch 18:15
4. Add your final glittery powder colour last, covering the whole textured area, then flick off excess. ▶ watch 19:00
5. Heat from the top using your heat tool on setting two, holding it about an inch away and moving it around to melt all the powders evenly. ▶ watch 21:15
6. Allow to cool completely before die-cutting or handling the card. ▶ watch 22:30

Tipps aus der Show

• Always apply your glittery powder last to ensure full coverage
• Heat from the top when working with texture paste rather than from underneath
• Let the card cool down before die-cutting to avoid squashing the raised texture
