A small folded book with angled pockets instead of straight edges, creating a more interesting and decorative look. Perfect for gifting tea, seeds, photos or gift cards inside the pockets.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Take an 8×8 or 6×6 piece of paper and score it in half (at 4 inches for 8×8, or 3 inches for 6×6). ▶ watch 17:45
2. Fold the paper in half along the score line. ▶ watch 18:00
3. Score a line up the side at 3 inches (or 2 inches for 6×6) to create the pocket depth. ▶ watch 18:30
4. Fold the paper from the base to create your pocket. ▶ watch 18:45
5. Cut up the score line in the middle with scissors. ▶ watch 19:00
6. Fold the paper in half and cut from the open edge on an angle to create matching angled pockets when unfolded. ▶ watch 19:15
7. Trim a small bit off the points on the left and right to reduce bulk in the centre when closed. ▶ watch 21:00
8. Pop your gift items inside the pockets and close the book. ▶ watch 22:00

Tipps aus der Show

• You can do this project in any size: 8×8, 6×6, 4×4 or smaller.
• Removing the bulk from the centre points makes the book close more neatly when finished.
