Design a sophisticated card using stencil work with complementary colour combinations. This project demonstrates how to layer ink colours and add dimensional embellishments to create visual interest and depth.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Stamp a moon design in black ink onto white cardstock. ▶ watch 48:00
2. Fussy cut around the moon shape carefully with scissors. ▶ watch 50:00
3. Apply a strip of washi tape down one side of a white card blank, keeping it as straight as possible. ▶ watch 53:00
4. Wrap the washi tape ends around the card edges for a neat finish. ▶ watch 54:00
5. Use a brush to apply blue ink in a halo effect around the card using a star stencil. ▶ watch 55:00
6. Apply mustard or orangey-yellow ink through the same stencil in a complementary pattern. ▶ watch 56:00
7. Layer blue ink again around the outer edges for additional depth. ▶ watch 57:00
8. Die-cut a sentiment such as 'be kind always' from white cardstock. ▶ watch 59:00
9. Mount the fussy-cut moon onto black cardstock using foam pads. ▶ watch 1:00:30
