Schritt für Schritt

1. Stamp a sketchy daisy flower design onto white cardstock using black ink. ▶ watch 22:45
2. Pick up the purple dye-based pigment ink and paint the outer petals of the flower. ▶ watch 23:15
3. Add bright yellow pigment ink to the centre of the flower. ▶ watch 23:45
4. Blend a red or orange tone into the yellow centre to create depth and dimension. ▶ watch 24:15
5. Add a green or teal tone to the stem area using the dye-based ink. ▶ watch 24:45
6. Fussy-cut around the flower design, staying close to the outline. ▶ watch 25:30
7. Mount the cut flower onto a black cardstock base using adhesive. ▶ watch 26:00
8. Add a wooden embellishment or decorative element to the card. ▶ watch 26:30

Tipps aus der Show

• Dye-based inks are brilliant for watercolour-style painting and blending on cardstock.
• You don't need to be precise with fussy cutting; a white border around the design is acceptable.
• Let the colour come through naturally without worrying about staying within the lines.
