Create a vibrant, sketchy-style card featuring tulips in bold colours. The two-part stamp creates an ombré effect with the solid colour layer, then the outline adds a hand-drawn, pencil-sketch appearance.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Cut cardstock to a suitable size for your card base. ▶ watch 29:00
2. Apply purple and blue ink to your ink pads. ▶ watch 29:30
3. Stamp the solid portion of the tulip design onto cardstock, positioning it where you want the flowers. ▶ watch 30:00
4. Apply green ink to the base area where the leaves will be. ▶ watch 30:15
5. Spray the inked areas lightly with water. ▶ watch 30:30
6. Stamp the solid portion again, allowing the colours to blend and create an ombré effect. ▶ watch 30:45
7. Allow the card to dry completely. ▶ watch 31:00
8. Stamp the outline portion in black ink to add definition and the sketchy, hand-drawn appearance. ▶ watch 31:30
9. Add splats of blue and other colours around the design for extra visual interest. ▶ watch 32:00
10. Mount the finished piece onto a card base and add any additional embellishments. ▶ watch 32:30

Tipps aus der Show

• This design is forgiving and doesn't need to be perfectly symmetrical—the sketchy nature is part of its charm.
• You can create matching note cards and envelopes by repeating the design in different colour combinations.
• Consider using embossing powders for the outline layer to add extra dimension.
