Blended Ink Cork Board with Stamped Flowers and Gel Medium

A cork board decorated with stamped flowers using multi-surface ink pads in contrasting colours, blended together, then enhanced with coloured gel medium (ice) to add texture and depth. The result is a vibrant, layered mixed-media piece.

Pas à pas

1. Stamp a flower design onto cork board using black multi-surface ink pad. ▶ watch 14:00
2. Leave the stamped image to dry for approximately five minutes. ▶ watch 14:15
3. Apply coloured gel medium (ice) into selected areas of the stamped design using a brush or applicator. ▶ watch 14:30
4. Blend additional colours of gel medium over the top to create texture and variation. ▶ watch 14:45
5. Allow the gel medium to dry completely (overnight or all day for best results). ▶ watch 15:00
6. Add die-cut elements or additional embellishments on top if desired. ▶ watch 15:15

Astuces de l'émission

• The gel medium dries quickly, so work with purpose.
• You can layer different colours of gel medium to create depth without them moving or muddying together.
