A creative wedding card featuring welly boots transformed into a bride and groom with a top hat and bow tie. The die-cut boots are layered with a background die and embellished with freehand-cut accessories to create a charming celebration card.

Pas à pas

1. Place the Spring Boots die onto white cardstock and run through your die-cutting machine. ▶ watch 31:00
2. Cut the same die from black cardstock to create a contrasting layer. ▶ watch 31:30
3. Cut the Sunray die from white cardstock to use as a background element. ▶ watch 32:00
4. Layer the white boot die-cut onto the black boot die-cut, aligning them carefully. ▶ watch 32:30
5. Cut a small square of scrap card freehand to create a top hat shape. ▶ watch 33:00
6. Cut a small bow tie shape freehand from cardstock and position it below the top hat. ▶ watch 33:30
7. Adhere the top hat and bow tie to the white boot die-cut using glue. ▶ watch 34:00
8. Mount the Sunray die-cut onto white cardstock as your background layer. ▶ watch 34:30
9. Position the decorated boot topper onto the Sunray background. ▶ watch 35:00
10. Add coordinating sentiment stickers or stamps to complete the card. ▶ watch 36:00
11. Mount the finished design onto a larger card base. ▶ watch 37:00

Astuces de l'émission

• You can snip into the boot die to remove the floral details and create a plain boot if preferred.
• The same die works for multiple occasions—change the colours and accessories to suit birthdays, anniversaries or family cards.
• Freehand cutting small details like bow ties and hats adds a personal, handmade touch to your cards.
