Stamp a sketchy daisy flower design onto white cardstock using black ink.

Pick up the purple dye-based pigment ink and paint the outer petals of the flower.

Add bright yellow pigment ink to the centre of the flower.

Blend a red or orange tone into the yellow centre to create depth and dimension.

Add a green or teal tone to the stem area using the dye-based ink.

Fussy-cut around the flower design, staying close to the outline.

Mount the cut flower onto a black cardstock base using adhesive.

Add a wooden embellishment or decorative element to the card.

Les astuces de l’émission

Dye-based inks are brilliant for watercolour-style painting and blending on cardstock.
You don't need to be precise with fussy cutting; a white border around the design is acceptable.
Let the colour come through naturally without worrying about staying within the lines.
