Réalisez un magnifique papillon en foil sur papier cartonné blanc, avec une élégante finition or métallisé. Pas à pas

1. 

   Gather your materials for this project: foil sheets in your chosen colours (such as rose gold), bonding powder, a sticky ink pad, a heat gun, and your selected stamp set.

   Cut two pieces of rose gold foil from the sheet to the length of your black card blank using sharp scissors.

3. Stamp your chosen design (butterfly or floral) onto white or black card stock using the sticky ink pad. Stamp twice to ensure full coverage and detail. The gold foil will adhere to the stamped areas in the next step. ▶ watch 45:00

   Sprinkle the bonding powder generously over the stamped floral design on the black card. Ensure the powder covers all areas of the stamped image completely.

   Place the stamped black card stock onto white card stock to catch any excess powder. Use a heat gun to melt the embossing powder, holding it about 15cm above the surface for approximately 60 seconds until the powder becomes clear and shiny.

   Place your foil sheet on top of the heated bonding powder, ensuring it covers the stamped design completely. The foil should be placed shiny side up over the black card stock.

   Burnish the foil firmly over the design using your finger. Work carefully into all the detailed areas to ensure complete coverage of the stamped image.

   Carefully peel back the foil sheet from the black card stock to reveal the foiled floral design underneath.

   Check the foiled design for any missed spots. If you find areas where the foil hasn't adhered, reheat the bonding powder in those areas with the heat tool and reapply the foil.

10. 

    Use an eraser to gently remove any foil that has transferred outside your stamped design. Work carefully to clean up the edges whilst preserving the gold foiled floral image on the black card.

Astuces de l'émission

• Use an anti-static bag over your card stock before stamping to prevent foil sticking to unwanted areas.
• The bonding powder must be from the Wow brand as other embossing powders will not work with the foil.
• If parts of the design don't pick up foil, simply reheat and reapply rather than starting over.
