Stamped Foiled Image with Laminator Finish

Stamp an image with sticky bonding powder, apply metallic foil, and run it through a laminator to create a crisp, fully-covered foiled effect. This technique produces a polished, professional-looking result.

Passo dopo passo

1. Cut the WOW Superior Smooth White Cardstock to a suitable size for your project. ▶ watch 15:30
2. Stamp a floral image onto the white cardstock using the sticky ink pad from the WOW starter kit. ▶ watch 16:00
3. Sprinkle the bonding powder from the foil bundle over the entire stamped image. ▶ watch 17:15
4. Heat-set the bonding powder using the heat tool until it becomes shiny and tacky. ▶ watch 19:30
5. Cut a piece of foil (gold or copper) from the foil bundle to cover the image. ▶ watch 20:00
6. Press the foil onto the tacky bonding powder. ▶ watch 20:15
7. Place the foiled piece inside a protective sheet and run it through a laminator on a medium heat setting. ▶ watch 20:45
8. Remove from the laminator and peel away the foil carrier sheet to reveal the finished foiled image. ▶ watch 21:00

Consigli dalla puntata

• Running the foiled piece through a laminator reactivates the bonding powder and creates fuller foil coverage.
• If you get excess powder residue, you may need to adjust the laminator temperature or ensure the bonding powder is fully heat-set before laminating.
