An intermediate technique card using the rose embossing folder with selective ink application via spot brush. The die-cut rose is inked in the recesses before running through the embossing machine for crisp, detailed results.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Die cut the rose outline die from the embossing folder set. ▶ watch 48:15
2. Use a spot brush to apply ink selectively into the recesses of the embossing folder. ▶ watch 48:30
3. Apply ink to both sides of the embossing folder for varied effects. ▶ watch 48:45
4. Place the die-cut rose into the embossing folder, aligning it carefully. ▶ watch 49:00
5. Run the folder through your personal embossing machine according to manufacturer settings. ▶ watch 49:15
6. Remove the embossed rose and admire the crisp 3D detail. ▶ watch 49:30
7. Stamp solid leaf elements from the A4 stamp set in coordinating colours. ▶ watch 50:00
8. Layer the stamped leaves around the embossed rose on your card base. ▶ watch 50:30
9. Add a sentiment stamp in the centre of the design. ▶ watch 51:00
10. Apply sparkle or additional embellishments to finish. ▶ watch 51:30

Tipps aus der Show

• You can use any ink pad for this technique.
• If the ink transfer isn't perfect, you can add more detail with a brush, highlighter pen, sparkle pen, fine liner or white gel pen afterwards.
