Sprayed Shimmer Background with Mixed Inks

Create a multi-coloured background using colour pop sprays, easy blend sprays and golden shimmer pearl mist sprayed into a plastic container. The result is a beautifully streaked, sparkly base with vibrant colour that dries with an intense shimmer effect.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Fill a plastic container with water or use it as your mixing palette. ▶ watch 13:00
2. Spray the colour pop sprays (purple and red) into the container to create initial colour layers. ▶ watch 13:30
3. Add the easy blend sprays in lilac, dark salmon, orange and rose bud red to the mixture. ▶ watch 13:45
4. Spray generous amounts of the golden shimmer pearl mist into the container. ▶ watch 14:00
5. Take white cardstock and dip or press it into the container to pick up the colour and shimmer. ▶ watch 14:15
6. Take the edges of the card to create a bubbled, organic look rather than full coverage. ▶ watch 14:30
7. Add additional sprays of colour or shimmer at any point to build up the effect. ▶ watch 14:45
8. Allow the background to dry completely; the shimmer will become more intense as it dries. ▶ watch 15:00
9. Reuse the palette by spraying water or more spray onto it to create additional background pieces. ▶ watch 15:15

Tipps aus der Show

• You can let the palette dry and reuse it multiple times to create more backgrounds.
• The golden shimmer becomes much more sparkly and intense once the background is completely dry.
• Add more spray at any point during the process to build up colour and shimmer effects.
