A sophisticated card combining a decorative corner stencil border with a stamped geisha girl focal point and cherry blossom accents. The design layers stencilled patterns with hand-painted watercolour details to create depth and visual interest.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Prepare your card base and position the corner stencil in the desired location. ▶ watch 22:15
2. Apply rose and cassis inks through the stencil using a dabbing motion to create the decorative corner border. ▶ watch 22:30
3. Stamp the geisha girl silhouette in the centre of the card using black ink. ▶ watch 23:00
4. Stamp cherry blossom flowers around the geisha using rose and cassis inks for colour variation. ▶ watch 23:15
5. Mount the stamped focal point onto black cardstock to make it pop. ▶ watch 23:45
6. Attach the black-mounted focal point to the card base using foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 24:00
7. Use the Miya Himi watercolour palette to paint the geisha's face with skin tone, leaving white areas for detail. ▶ watch 24:30
8. Add pink and purple watercolour details to the geisha's clothing and features for depth. ▶ watch 25:00
9. Apply glossy accents over selected flowers and details to enhance dimension and shine. ▶ watch 25:30

Tipps aus der Show

• Leave white areas in the watercolour work to preserve stamped detail and create contrast.
• The semi-moist watercolour palette is translucent, so it won't cover up your stamped details like thicker watercolours might.
• You can add as much or as little watercolour detail as you prefer depending on your style.
