Create a standing A2-sized shaped card featuring the owl family design with paper-pieced elements. The card uses coordinating dies to cut out embellishments like hats, bows and butterflies, which are then layered with foam pads and tape to create dimension and visual interest.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Stamp the owl family design onto plain white card using black ink pad, pressing down firmly for a clear impression. ▶ watch 3:45
2. Stamp the same owl family design onto one sheet of the patterned paper included in the collection. ▶ watch 4:00
3. Use the coordinating dies to cut out the owl family shape from both the white card and patterned paper versions. ▶ watch 5:00
4. Die cut individual embellishment pieces including the hat, bow and butterflies from the appropriate cardstock or patterned paper. ▶ watch 5:15
5. Score the back of one owl die-cut piece and glue it to the other to create a folded shaped card that stands upright. ▶ watch 5:30
6. Adhere the stamped and die-cut owl piece directly onto the front of your shaped card base using tape. ▶ watch 6:45
7. Attach the hat piece by applying glue only in the centre, then gently pull the side edges upward to create a three-dimensional effect. ▶ watch 7:00
8. Glue the bow and head piece from the patterned paper version onto the owl to add colour and detail without needing to colour by hand. ▶ watch 7:45
9. Tape the floral word piece (such as 'Joy') to the back of a butterfly die-cut so it appears the owl is holding the flower. ▶ watch 8:00
10. Position the butterfly with the hidden word onto the flower stem to complete the design, creating a charming standing card. ▶ watch 8:45
