Schritt für Schritt

1. Select a pre-printed paper from the collection featuring an atmospheric background scene. ▶ watch 14:00
2. Position the inner moon stencil aperture near the top of your paper. ▶ watch 14:15
3. Apply white ink using a blending brush around the moon aperture to create a subtle halo effect. ▶ watch 14:30
4. Swap to the exterior stencil and position it over the moon area, concentrating the white ink in the centre and blending outwards. ▶ watch 15:00
5. Blend the white ink outwards to soften the moon area and create a gentle glow. ▶ watch 15:30
6. Stamp the reflection figures in black ink near the base of the card where the water or ground is shown. ▶ watch 15:45
7. Take a white gel pen and add highlights to the tops of the figures and any raised elements to suggest moonlight reflection. ▶ watch 16:30
8. Mount the decorated paper onto a card base in black or white. ▶ watch 17:15
9. Add a sentiment such as 'Happy Halloween' to complete the card. ▶ watch 18:15

• The paper is uncoated, which means you can emboss, heat emboss, stamp, paint or gesso it for additional creative options.
• White gel pen dries back slightly lighter than it appears when applied, so don't worry if it looks harsh initially.
• You can repeat the figures design or position them off to the edge for varied compositions.
