A lighter, more delicate version of an embossed cross card using orange distress ink instead of heather. The technique demonstrates how changing ink colour completely transforms the mood of the design.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Cut a fresh piece of white card to fit your embossing folder. ▶ watch 52:30
2. Swipe orange distress ink pad across both sides of the embossing folder, staying away from the back to keep the focus on the cross. ▶ watch 52:45
3. Spray the inked embossing folder lightly with water to create a soft, dispersed effect. ▶ watch 53:00
4. Place your white card inside the embossing folder, aligning it carefully. ▶ watch 53:15
5. Run the embossing folder and card through your die-cutting machine. ▶ watch 53:30
6. Remove the card and observe how the lighter orange colour creates a different mood compared to the heather version. ▶ watch 53:45
7. Trim the card down to your desired size. ▶ watch 54:00
8. Add a beautiful centre sentiment to complete the card. ▶ watch 54:15
