Use the pre-printed creative watercolour papers as a stunning background, then add a silhouette maple leaf stencil stamped in black to create a halo effect on top. The result looks like you've spent hours layering and designing, but the beautiful papers do most of the work.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Select one of the creative watercolour papers and cut it down to size. ▶ watch 46:30
2. Mount the paper piece onto black cardstock to make the design pop from the page. ▶ watch 46:45
3. Place the maple leaf stencil over the paper design. ▶ watch 47:00
4. Ink the maple leaf stencil with pink ink using a mini ink pad or blending brush. ▶ watch 48:00
5. Stamp the leaf to create a halo effect on top of the pre-printed design. ▶ watch 48:15
6. Optionally, spray the stamped leaf lightly with water to create a soft, reactive effect. ▶ watch 52:30
7. Dab away excess water with a tissue to blend the colours. ▶ watch 53:00
8. Ink the solid lamination flower stamp in black and stamp it off the edge of the design for added interest. ▶ watch 58:00
9. Add a sentiment label cut to size and rounded at the corners, inked around the edges with black. ▶ watch 1:00:00
10. Enhance the black areas with a purple sparkle pen to add shimmer and dimension. ▶ watch 1:03:00
11. Optionally add sequins or other embellishments to finish the card. ▶ watch 1:04:00

• The creative watercolour papers are uncoated, so they take heat embossing, water, and colour beautifully.
• The papers are 200 GSM, making them perfect for card tops and layering.
• You can scratch back the uncoated paper with scissors if you want to add texture or detail.
