Initial Impressions is a collection of stencils from DecoArt, designed for card makers, stampers and scrapbookers who want to add beautifully defined shapes and patterns to their projects. Whether you're creating your first card or working on a more elaborate design, these stencils offer different styles to suit your creative vision.
The range includes four distinct stencil designs: Classic, Sleek, Quirky and Sophisticated. Each brings its own character to your work, so you can choose the one that matches your project's mood and aesthetic. Crafters typically use stencils like these to create consistent, crisp impressions on card stock, backgrounds and mixed media pieces, either by layering them with ink, paint or other media.
When selecting a stencil, think about the overall feel you want to achieve—whether that's timeless elegance, modern simplicity, playful fun or refined sophistication. It's helpful to consider the scale of your project too; stencils work beautifully on cards, layouts and smaller surfaces, so measure your space before you start to ensure the design fits comfortably within your composition.
