Romeo Washi Tape Card with Decorative Panel

A charming card featuring Romeo the rabbit from the washi tape, mounted on white cardstock and die-cut as a topper. The card includes a decorative slimline dots and swirls panel down one side, with layered embellishments including butterflies, foliage, and sparkle pen details for a spring-themed greeting.

Step by step

1. Cut two pieces of the Romeo washi tape using the coordinating die sections, cutting through the sticky roll onto white cardstock. ▶ watch 14:15
2. Mount the washi tape pieces onto white cardstock by peeling back the sticky backing and pressing firmly, then burnish to remove any bumps. ▶ watch 15:15
3. Die-cut the mounted washi elements using the two-part die to create individual toppers with a fine border. ▶ watch 17:30
4. Trim a slimline dots and swirls die-cut panel to size and adhere it vertically down one side of your card base using adhesive pads. ▶ watch 26:30
5. Double-pad the Romeo topper and bend one ear forward and one back for dimension, then position on the card. ▶ watch 31:00
6. Add die-cut embellishments including butterflies, foliage elements, and sentiment pieces around Romeo using adhesive pads. ▶ watch 37:00
7. Enhance the design by adding sparkle pen details to the wreath, Romeo, and butterfly elements for extra shimmer. ▶ watch 40:30

Tips from the show

• The washi tape is repositionable, so you can adjust placement before pressing down firmly.
• You can bend the rabbit's ears to create different expressions and add personality to the design.
• The sparkle pen will carry on the semi-porous washi tape surface, but do not overload it with too much product.
