Decoupage Sparkle Card with Layered Stamped Images

Create a beautiful decoupage card using the Time to Sparkle stamp with coordinating stencil work. Layer pre-coloured stamped elements with foam pads to add dimension, finished with gems for extra sparkle.

Step by step

1. Stamp the Time to Sparkle image onto cardstock and colour it using peach, pink, orange and navy blue tones. ▶ watch 41:45
2. Prepare decoupage layers by stamping and colouring additional copies of the image. ▶ watch 42:00
3. Add your chosen sentiment to the card base. ▶ watch 42:15
4. Ink through the Pretty Poinsettia stencil slightly offset to add decorative detail around the sentiment. ▶ watch 42:30
5. Cut out the individual elements from your stamped and coloured images, such as the skirt and presents. ▶ watch 43:00
6. Attach the main decoupage layer to your card base using foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 43:30
7. Layer the additional cut-out elements such as the skirt and presents on top using foam pads. ▶ watch 44:00
8. Add small gems around the design to enhance the sparkle effect. ▶ watch 44:30

Tips from the show

• Pre-colour multiple copies of your stamp before you start layering to save time.
• Use foam pads to create dimension between layers.
