12x12 Gift Wallet Pocket

A simple folded paper pocket made from a single 12x12 sheet that creates an elegant gift envelope. You can fill it with photos, tickets, vouchers or small gifts, and customise it with corner punches and edging for a polished look.

Step by step

1. Fold your 12x12 sheet corner to corner, then fold it in half with your finger. ▶ watch 7:00
2. Bring the top point down to the centre line. ▶ watch 7:15
3. Fold the side tabs in line with the score line underneath. ▶ watch 8:15
4. Score the folded edges to create crisp creases. ▶ watch 8:30
5. Unfold completely and flip to the white side to show how it works both ways. ▶ watch 10:00
6. Use a corner punch to round off the corners for a more polished finish. ▶ watch 10:15
7. Fill your pocket with tags, banners, toppers, cards or vellum fussy-cut flowers. ▶ watch 11:00
8. Add a sentiment and embellish with coordinating stamps to decorate the tags as a gift. ▶ watch 12:00

Tips from the show

• This project works for 12x12, 8x8 and 6x6 paper sizes.
• You can use single-sided or double-sided paper.
