A minimalist card featuring a large sentiment stamp as the focal point. This simple, impactful design demonstrates how a powerful message can stand alone without additional embellishment.

Step by step

1. Choose your sentiment stamp – in this case, the large 'You are kind, you are smart, you are important' design. ▶ watch 49:45
2. Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock using black ink, positioning it as your focal point. ▶ watch 50:00
3. Layer the stamped panel onto a contrasting card base using double-sided tape. ▶ watch 50:30
4. Leave the design simple to allow the powerful message to take centre stage. ▶ watch 50:45

Tips from the show

• The last word in a sentiment often has the most impact, so position your stamp to highlight this.
• Simple cards with strong sentiments are often the most important cards we send and receive.
