Scored Corner Panel Detail Card

Add subtle texture and visual interest to a card by scoring decorative lines that create a raised corner panel. This technique combines scoring with stamping to frame a focal flower design elegantly.

Step by step

1. Place your cardstock into the Eureka 101, holding it securely in place with the magnet. ▶ watch 55:45
2. Use the score tool to draw several parallel score lines across the card to create a corner panel design. ▶ watch 56:00
3. Turn the card over to see the raised detail created by the score lines. ▶ watch 56:15
4. Position a large flower stamp so it aligns with the scored corner panel area. ▶ watch 56:30
5. Ink up the flower stamp with your chosen colour and press it firmly onto the card, allowing it to overlap the score lines slightly. ▶ watch 56:45
6. Add colour to the stamped flower using watercolour or ink, building up the pigment gradually. ▶ watch 57:00
7. Add a sentiment word die-cut to complete the design, positioning it near the flower. ▶ watch 57:15

Tips from the show

• The magnet in the Eureka 101 keeps your artwork completely still whilst scoring, preventing the scoreboard from moving.
• You don't need the texture to be the focus—the score lines can work as a subtle background detail to support your stamped design.
• Combine scoring with stamping to add multiple layers of visual interest to your card.
