A simple empowerment card using rub-on transfers to create a smooth, printed-look sentiment. Teresa demonstrates how easy rub-ons are to apply, showing that no special tools or strength are needed to transfer beautiful messages onto your cardstock.

Step by step

1. Prepare a card base or cardstock to work on. ▶ watch 32:45
2. Select a rub-on transfer sheet with your chosen sentiment, such as 'You Are Limitless'. ▶ watch 33:00
3. Peel back the clear carrier sheet to expose the rub-on transfer. ▶ watch 33:15
4. Position the rub-on onto your card where you want it to appear. ▶ watch 33:30
5. Use the included wooden stick or a credit card edge to rub firmly over the entire transfer, applying even pressure. ▶ watch 33:45
6. Slowly peel back the carrier sheet at a shallow angle to reveal the transferred image. ▶ watch 34:00
7. If any part didn't transfer fully, replace the carrier sheet and rub again over that area. ▶ watch 34:15
8. Once complete, admire the smooth, professional-looking result that feels printed onto the card. ▶ watch 34:30

Tips from the show

• Rub-ons work on any smooth surface including cardstock, plastic, and even skin.
• No special strength is required to apply rub-ons; they work easily for everyone including those with hand or joint concerns.
• You can use alternative tools like credit cards if you lose the wooden applicator stick.
