  1. Start with a top-folding note card in pink with a black mat layer and white card stock. ▶ watch 33:30
  2. Mask off the top portion of the white card using removable tape, leaving approximately the top third exposed. ▶ watch 33:45
  3. Apply teal ink to the exposed area using a brush, building up colour gradually for depth. ▶ watch 34:00
  4. Layer additional ink colours such as salty ocean and faded jeans over the teal to create a blended, multi-toned effect. ▶ watch 35:00
  5. Wet a brush with clean water and apply it to the inked area to create bleached splashes and organic texture. ▶ watch 36:15
  6. Blot the wet area with tissue to remove excess water and set the effect. ▶ watch 37:00
  7. Carefully peel away the masking tape to reveal a clean edge between the coloured wash and the white card. ▶ watch 38:15
  8. Stamp the large floral design from Beautiful Notes in black ink across the top portion of the card, positioning it to overlap the coloured wash area. ▶ watch 38:30
  9. Stamp additional floral detail lower on the card by repositioning the stamp slightly to catch more of the design. ▶ watch 39:15
  10. Use a fine-liner pen to draw a single or double line around the edge of the card as a decorative frame. ▶ watch 40:15
  11. Stamp a simple sentiment such as 'Enjoy your day' in black ink to the side of the design. ▶ watch 41:45
  12. Mount the white card onto the black mat layer, then attach to the pink card base. ▶ watch 43:30
