A project from our live show CATCH UP with Toni for a SATURDAY LAUNCH in the HTCN studio broadcast 20th Nov 21 · 20/11/2021
A striking black cardstock card featuring a delicate white floral stencil design layered with additional colours and embellishments. The white pigment ink creates a bold contrast on the dark background, with optional colour overlays and decorative details.
Select a piece of black cardstock as your card base.
Position the floral blossom stencil onto the black cardstock.
Load a sponge dauber with white pigment ink from the large ink pad.
Push the white ink through the stencil onto the black cardstock, creating a floral pattern.
Allow the white ink to dry slightly, then carefully lift the stencil away.
Optionally, reposition the stencil and add a pink or coloured pigment ink overlay to the centre of the flowers.
Use a white gel pen to add connecting wiggly lines between the floral elements.
Stamp a second floral design in white ink in the centre of the card.
Add white gel pen details around the second flower to frame it.
Layer the card onto a black base and add black and white washi tape for embellishment.
Add sequins or gems to enhance the design if desired.
