Create the appearance of an embossing folder by die-cutting a large peony design multiple times and layering the pieces onto white cardstock. This technique gives a dimensional, embossed look without needing an actual embossing folder.
Die-cut the peony design three times from white cardstock using the large peony die.
Pop out all the small pieces from each die-cut carefully.
Apply adhesive to the back of the first die-cut layer.
Glue the first layer onto your white cardstock base, pressing down firmly.
Apply adhesive to the second die-cut layer and position it on top of the first, offsetting slightly for dimension.
Glue the third layer on top, filling any large gaps in the design.
Trim away any excess cardstock around the edges using scissors.
Leave the design white-on-white for a subtle, elegant embossed appearance.
