Create a beautiful clear acetate box to hold coordinating cards and envelopes. The thick acetate paper allows you to score without clouding, and the finished box showcases your cards through the transparent sides for an elegant presentation.

Schritt für Schritt

1. Cut two pieces of acetate paper to 12 inches by 10 inches. ▶ watch 22:45
2. 

   Cut off approximately two inches from one end of the purple acetate sheet to create the base piece.

3. 

   Score the purple dotted acetate base piece at one inch on one end, as this will form the header of the envelope box.

   Score at half an inch on the bottom edge of the purple acetate sheet.

   Rotate the purple acetate sheet and score at three inches on the opposite side using the scoring board.

6. Score at eight inches on the same side of the acetate sheet to create panel divisions. Use a ruler and scoring tool to make a clear score line across the width of the sheet. ▶ watch 24:00
7. Cut away the two end panels from the acetate sheet. Remove a small corner triangle from the centre panel where indicated by the score lines. ▶ watch 24:15
8. 

   Fold up the flaps on the acetate sheet to create the sides of the box. Use the score lines as guides to form neat, crisp edges.

9. Apply adhesive to one side and fold over to seal ▶ watch 25:00
10. Fold and glue the top flap to complete the box ▶ watch 25:30
11. Insert coordinating cards and envelopes into the finished box ▶ watch 26:00

Tipps aus der Show

• The thick acetate construction weight does not cloud when scored, unlike thinner acetate
• Use red liner tape or high-tack adhesive for best results with acetate
• You can make multiple boxes in different colours and use them for gift sets or storage
