Create a glamorous prom or special occasion card featuring a shimmering dress design. Using the Small Town Girl lamination stamp set, emboss the solid dress portion with sparkly copper powder to create a dazzling effect, whilst the outline stamp adds elegant detail to complete the gown. This eye-catching card is perfect for celebrating proms, parties or any special event.

Pas à pas

1. 

   Using a sticky ink pad, stamp the solid portion of the dress design onto white cardstock. Press firmly to ensure good coverage for the embossing powder to adhere to.

   Dust the freshly stamped image with sparkly embossing powder, ensuring the powder adheres to the wet ink. Tap off any excess powder to leave a clean coating on the stamped design.

3. 

   Tap off the excess embossing powder from your stamped image. Use an anti-static bag to gently wipe away any remaining loose particles from the card surface.

4. 

   Heat set the embossing powder using a heat gun, moving it over the design until the powder melts and becomes glossy and smooth. Keep the heat gun moving to avoid scorching the card.

5. 

   Once the embossed image has cooled completely, carefully line up the outline stamp from the same set and stamp it over the embossed solid portion using black ink. This creates a defined edge around the dress and figure.

6. 

   Heat emboss the stamped outline using black embossing powder. Apply the powder to the wet ink, tap off the excess, and use a heat tool to melt the powder until it becomes shiny and raised, creating definition and contrast.

   Mount the finished embossed and glittered dress design onto your chosen cardstock base to complete the card.
