Create a romantic card featuring a stitched heart frame with foliage and flower details. The flowers can be paper pieced in different colours, and a sentiment can be stamped in the centre, making it perfect for occasions like Valentine's Day or anniversaries.

Stap voor stap

1. Place your card stock on the die cutting machine and position the floral heart frame die on top. ▶ watch 24:30
2. Run the die through your machine to cut out the heart frame with all its foliage and flower details. ▶ watch 25:00
3. If the intricate details haven't cut cleanly, lightly spray the card stock with water from the back or front. ▶ watch 25:30
4. Reposition the die and run it through the machine again to ensure all details are fully cut. ▶ watch 25:45
5. Carefully remove the die and peel away the card stock to reveal the heart frame. ▶ watch 26:00
6. Pop out all the individual flower pieces from the frame. ▶ watch 26:15
7. Paper piece the flowers back into the frame using different coloured card stocks for added dimension. ▶ watch 26:30
8. Stamp a sentiment in the centre of the heart and mount the finished frame onto your card base. ▶ watch 26:45

Tips uit de show

• Spraying the card stock lightly with water before a second pass through the machine helps achieve clean cuts on intricate details.
• You can paper piece the flowers back in using different coloured card stocks to create a multi-coloured effect.
