SANDY ART
DIVERSEN
Sandy Art is a fun and tactile craft technique that brings colour and texture to your projects. Whether you're new to this craft or already a fan, our Sandy Art category has everything you need to create beautiful sand-filled designs.
In this category, you'll find coloured sands in a range of shades—like our Brilliant Sand Yellow—alongside a wonderful selection of templates. The templates cover themes for every occasion and interest: seasonal designs such as Christmas and Bethlehem scenes, celebrations like weddings and jubilees, nature subjects including flowers, palm trees and animals like penguins and deer, and fun designs featuring characters and objects from a lantern to a clown. Crafters typically use the templates as guides to create layered sand pictures, filling different sections with contrasting colours to build up detailed, textured artwork.
When working with Sandy Art, choose your colour palette carefully—complementary shades will make your design pop. Take your time filling each section of the template, pressing the sand gently to ensure good coverage and clean edges between colours for a professional finish.
