The Sweet Dixie Background category is designed for card makers and stampers who want to add beautiful, ready-made backgrounds to their projects. Whether you're creating greetings cards, scrapbook layouts or other papercrafts, these products help you build a polished design quickly.
This collection features A6-sized background stamps, including designs like Zap and Daisy Chain. These are perfect for stamping directly onto card bases or cardstock to create instant, coordinated backgrounds. Rather than building backgrounds from scratch, you can stamp these designs and then layer other elements like sentiments, embellishments or focal images on top.
When choosing a background stamp, think about the mood you want to create—geometric or bold designs work well for modern cards, whilst floral patterns suit feminine or spring-themed projects. A helpful tip is to test your background stamp on scrap card first to check the coverage and colour intensity, so you can plan your layering and ensure other elements will show up clearly on top.
