Grungeboard is part of Tim Holtz Idea-ology, a collection designed for crafters who love texture, dimension and mixed media techniques. If you enjoy creating layered, tactile projects with character and depth, this category is for you.
Grungeboard products are sturdy, textured boards that work beautifully as bases, embellishments and structural elements in your makes. The range includes plain versions for a clean, versatile look, and patterned options like the dotted design for added visual interest. Crafters use Grungeboard to add dimension to cards and scrapbook layouts, create mixed media backgrounds, build layered tags, and construct three-dimensional elements that stand out from the page.
When choosing your Grungeboard, think about the overall style you're creating—plain boards give you a blank canvas to paint, ink or embellish however you like, whilst patterned versions bring instant detail and texture. These boards take paint, ink, stamps and adhesives beautifully, so don't be afraid to layer them with other mixed media materials for truly unique finishes.
