Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks are a collection from Ranger designed for card makers, stampers and scrapbookers who want to add vibrant, flowing colour to their projects. With 82 products to explore, this category is perfect if you're looking to experiment with alcohol-based inks that blend and move beautifully across surfaces.
You'll find two main types here: standard Distress Alcohol Inks in shades like Teakwood, Bayou, Brick and Flannel, and Distress Alcohol Ink Pearls in colours such as Smoulder, Intrigue, Enchanted and Celestial. Crafters typically use these inks to create backgrounds, add atmospheric effects to card designs, colour resin pieces, or bring depth and dimension to mixed-media projects. The pearlescent versions add an extra shimmer and lustre to your work.
When choosing your colours, think about the mood you want to create—cooler tones like Juniper and Wilderness work well for calm designs, whilst warmer shades like Sienna and Cosmopolitan add energy. Alcohol inks blend beautifully together, so don't be afraid to layer and combine colours to discover new effects.
