About GEL PRINTING PLATE

Gel printing plates are a wonderful tool for card makers, stampers and scrapbookers who want to create beautiful, repeatable prints without traditional printing presses. Gelli Arts® gel printing plates are designed to give you professional results at home, making them perfect for adding unique backgrounds, patterns and textures to your projects.

This category features Gelli Arts® gel printing plates in various sizes. These plates work by allowing you to apply ink, paint or other mediums to the surface, then press paper or cardstock onto the plate to transfer your design. They're ideal for creating layered backgrounds for cards, scrapbook pages and mixed media projects, and you can use them again and again with different colour combinations and techniques.

When choosing a gel printing plate, think about the size of your finished projects—a larger plate gives you more creative space and is great for backgrounds, whilst smaller plates work well for detail work or card-sized designs. Start with simple techniques like dragging tools across inked surfaces or stamping directly onto the plate, then experiment with more complex layering as you grow in confidence.
