About VELLUMS

Vellums from Pergamano are delicate, translucent papers perfect for card makers, stampers and scrapbookers who want to add elegance and subtle layering to their designs. Whether you're creating handmade cards, scrapbook pages or mixed media projects, vellum offers a sophisticated finishing touch.

This category features quality vellum sheets in various colours. The 90 gramme weight vellum we stock is ideal for stamping, layering over patterned papers, and creating translucent overlays that soften images beneath. Crafters love using vellum to add depth to card designs, create vellum pockets for scrapbooking, or stamp sentiments that float delicately over their main design.

When working with vellum, remember that it responds beautifully to both pigment and dye-based inks—pigment inks tend to sit on the surface, while dye-based inks can be heat-set for permanence. Layer vellum over complementary cardstock colours to see how the translucency transforms your design, and consider using vellum as a protective overlay for precious scrapbook pages.
