Rusty Paper is a collection from Viva Decor designed for crafters who love adding texture, character and a weathered aesthetic to their papercraft projects. Whether you're making cards, scrapbook layouts or mixed media pieces, these products help you achieve authentic rust effects.
This category includes specialised rust-effect products in 150 ml sizes. These are liquid finishes that create realistic rust and oxidised metal looks on paper and cardstock. Crafters typically use them to age paper, add industrial or vintage details to card designs, or create dramatic focal points in scrapbooking layouts. The different formulations—such as the rust-orange shade—give you flexibility in the depth and tone of rust effect you create.
When working with rust-effect products, test on spare cardstock first to understand how the colour develops and how it interacts with your chosen paper weight. Consider the overall colour scheme of your project; rust tones work beautifully with neutral, earthy and vintage palettes. Apply these products in thin layers for subtle aging, or build them up for a more dramatic, heavily oxidised appearance.
