Een project uit onze liveshow Stamping Techniques - Lamination Stamp - Heat Embossing - Watercolour Effect 22 dec 21 · 22/12/2021
Create a stunning watercolour-effect floral card using lamination stamps with two-part elements. The technique produces a realistic painted look by layering colours on the stamp before stamping, then misting with water to create authentic watercolour effects.
Take a piece of white cardstock as your base.
Select the large solid portion of the lamination stamp (the floral element).
Apply yellow ink to the entire stamp surface.
Add touches of pink ink to various areas of the stamp for colour variation.
Spray the inked stamp lightly with water to create a watercolour effect.
Press the stamp firmly onto the white cardstock and hold in place.
Swap to the second stamp design (the leaf element).
Apply green ink to the leaf stamp, using different tones for depth.
Add spots and highlights with a different shade of green or teal.
Spray the leaf stamp lightly with water.
Position and press the leaf stamp onto the cardstock, aligning with the floral element.
Stamp a sentiment (such as 'Have a wonderful day') in black ink in the centre of the design.
Adhere the completed stamped piece onto a top-folding note card using adhesive.
Press down firmly to secure, removing any air bubbles or lumps.
