Layered Flower Card with Offset Petals

Build a dimensional flower using large layering flower dies with asymmetrical petal designs. By cutting multiple layers and offsetting them, you create a realistic, textured flower that works beautifully as a focal point on cards.

Stap voor stap

1. Select your cardstock in a colour of choice, such as glitter or pearlised card. ▶ watch 18:30
2. Cut the largest flower die through your cardstock. ▶ watch 19:00
3. Cut a second copy of the largest flower die. ▶ watch 19:15
4. Gently cinch or pinch the petals of both flower layers to add dimension and texture. ▶ watch 19:30
5. Apply glue to the back of one flower layer. ▶ watch 20:00
6. Offset the second flower layer on top of the first, rotating it slightly for a natural look. ▶ watch 20:15
7. Cut the medium-sized flower die and repeat the cinching and layering process. ▶ watch 20:45
8. Adhere the medium layer offset on top of the large layers. ▶ watch 21:15
9. Cut the smallest flower die and layer it in the centre. ▶ watch 21:45
10. Add a decorative gem or bead to the centre of the flower for embellishment. ▶ watch 22:00
11. Attach foliage or greenery behind the flower to complete the design. ▶ watch 22:30

Tips uit de show

• The asymmetrical petal design creates a realistic, rugged flower appearance.
• Offsetting each layer rather than stacking them straight creates a more natural, dimensional look.
• You can use foliage from other brands to build the flower design.
