Dioxazine Purple 4OZ Wax Effects Encaustic Acrylic from DecoArt brings the beautiful, sheer and luminous qualities of traditional beeswax encaustic to your crafting without any heat needed. This ready-to-use acrylic wax is perfect for card makers and mixed-media artists who want to add depth, texture and a professional finish to their work.
Use it straight from the jar to model, layer and texture your projects. You can scrape it back for interesting effects, embed collage materials into it, or combine it with other mixed-media elements. It's ideal for adding encaustic-style details to cards, tags, journal pages and scrapbook layouts, giving you the artistic effects of traditional encaustic without the equipment or expertise required.
