The Stencil Birthday by Fiskars is a versatile stencil designed to help you create beautiful embossed designs on your papercraft projects. Whether you're making cards, tags or scrapbook layouts, this stencil lets you add dimensional detail that you can then embellish with chalks, coloured pencils, watercolour markers or ink.
Use both tips of the stylus to emboss your designs, choosing the tip size that suits each element of the pattern. You don't need to fill in the entire shape—simply run the stylus around the edge of the design to create a lovely raised outline. This technique works beautifully on cardstock and mixed-media surfaces, giving your creations professional-looking dimension without complicated layering.
