Black Card Embossed Daffodil with Pigment Ink

An elegant card using pigment-based ink on black card stock, stamped with the daffodil design and embossed with WOW powder. The pigment ink creates rich, vibrant colours that pop dramatically against the black background.

Step by step

1. Prepare a piece of black card stock as your base. ▶ watch 49:45
2. Stamp the daffodil from the A5 stamp set onto the black card using pigment ink. ▶ watch 50:00
3. Stamp the design twice to ensure complete coverage of all details. ▶ watch 50:15
4. Sprinkle WOW embossing powder over the wet pigment ink. ▶ watch 50:30
5. Tap off excess powder. ▶ watch 50:45
6. Heat-set the powder with an embossing gun until fully melted and shiny. ▶ watch 51:00
7. Mount the embossed black card onto a contrasting coloured card stock. ▶ watch 51:15

Tips from the show

• Pigment ink stays wet longer, allowing you to apply embossing powder and other techniques.
• Stamp twice on black card to ensure all detail is visible.
• Pigment inks emboss beautifully and create coloured embossing effects with clear powder.
