Reflection Landscape Card with Bird and Foliage

Build a layered landscape scene using multiple stamps from the reflection set to create foreground and background elements. Combine the bird stamp with foliage stamps and add watercolour, white pen details and optional crystals for a realistic, dimensional composition.

Step by step

1. Prepare your card base and decide on the composition of your scene. ▶ watch 15:30
2. Ink up the bird stamp and stamp it onto your card, positioning it where you want the focal point of your scene. ▶ watch 15:45
3. Ink up the foliage stamp and stamp it around the bird to create background and foreground elements, building perspective into your scene. ▶ watch 16:00
4. Stamp a sun or additional landscape elements onto your card to complete the scene composition. ▶ watch 16:15
5. Use the included white gel pen to add highlights and reflections in the water, creating the illusion of light reflecting off the surface. ▶ watch 16:20
6. If desired, add a few crisp circles with a pen or add optional crystals to enhance the sparkle and dimension of your design. ▶ watch 16:25

Tips from the show

• There are no rules—build your scene in any way that feels right to you.
• The stamps give you confidence to be creative, even if you have never tried watercolouring before.
• You can use any ink pads you already have in your stash to create this project.
