Step by step

  1. Prepare three layers of white card and secure the middle layer to the base with tape, leaving it repositionable. ▶ watch 9:00
  2. Stamp the scatter of hearts in pink ink onto the outer layer, pressing firmly to create texture across the card. ▶ watch 11:00
  3. Stamp the solid heart image onto the middle layer, giving it a good push down to capture all detail. ▶ watch 12:30
  4. Stamp the girls silhouette twice onto card stock to ensure you capture all the detail in the design. ▶ watch 14:00
  5. Heat emboss the girls using gold embossing powder, ensuring you lather the powder generously to leave a halo. ▶ watch 17:45
  6. If you miss any detail when stamping, use the halo left by the embossing powder to realign and re-stamp the missing part. ▶ watch 19:45
  7. Stamp the girls again in black ink onto the base layer for contrast and definition. ▶ watch 21:00
  8. Glue the middle layer onto a small matted layer, then glue this onto another piece of black card. ▶ watch 22:30
  9. Attach the complete layered piece to your card blank, ensuring the design lines up with the black border. ▶ watch 23:30
  10. Paint the girls' gowns using gold confetti ink to add shimmer and coordinate with the embossed details. ▶ watch 25:30
