6. Stamp a large sentiment reading 'You make me happy' onto white card using the same green ink. ▶ watch 33:00
7. Paint over the bamboo leaves with pearl gold acrylic paint, applying it selectively to create an iridescent effect over the green. ▶ watch 34:30

12. Attach foam pads to the back of the bamboo piece and position it on your card base, then add the sentiment with foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 42:00

Tips from the show

• The star die gives you the option to use it on the top, bottom or both edges of your card for flexibility in design.
• Pearl gold acrylic paint creates a lovely iridescent effect over green, almost like a verdigris finish.
• Use card scraps cut diagonally to add colour accents in corners; this is a frugal way to use leftover cardstock.
